The Davis Trophy competition saw some top flight girls playing for the silverware. Oxford Ladies Tilly Holder reached the final after knocking out Narelle Ives (Witney Lakes) 6/5, to meet Frilford’s Annie Gowing in the final who had a marathon semi extending to the 21st hole, against Henley’s Maddy Field. The final was a very close match with Tilly going down the 17th 1 up and she closed out Annie with a birdie to win 2/1.
