Autumn Meeting 3-Ball Alliance at Studley Wood GC on 29th September 2008

90 players took part in OLCGA’s Autumn Alliance played at Studley Wood last week – a 27 hole team stableford competition with two scores counting out of three.

Top score for the day came from the first tee with the team of Jane Binning and Kate Evans, both Frilford players, who joined forces with Trudy Sainsbury from Studley Wood and they manage to knotch up 120 points over the 27 holes. Second was a Tadmarton trio Mo McInnes, Penny Parker and Muriel Williams on 114 points. Third also from Tadmarton, Sarah Amos, Thelma Mawle and Mary Penn Wills on 109 points.

The 27 hole winners from the 10th tee were Henley’s Justine Lawrence, Suzy Smith and Sarah Arnold with 111 points. Second a trio from Hinksey Heights Lesley Freeman, Jan Glover and Joanne Collins on 107 points and in third place Maggie Edwards, Clare Fox and Anne Clarke from Oxford Ladies with 103 points.
