Format & Conditions of Entry:
• Entry is made by Club via County Representative before 1 November
• Competition is for teams of six Playing or Associate Members of affiliated Clubs with individual playing handicaps of 13 or above on the day of each match
• Format is foursomes, scratch, match-play knockout
• The draw will be made after the closing date of entries
• It is the equal responsibility of both Clubs to arrange their matches by the due date
• The venue for each round will be decided by a draw
• If a player is a member of two Oxfordshire Clubs, she may represent her ‘Home’ Club only
• Buggies are not permitted (exceptions may only be made on medical grounds with the prior approval of Competition Secretary)
• Caddies are permitted but may not go on to the greens
• All matches must be played to a conclusion (i.e., no halved matches)
• The semi-final and final are played on a specified date at a venue arranged by the County.
• In 2009 this will be on Tuesday 28 July at Huntercombe Golf Club
• Afternoon tea will be provided for the finalists
• The winning team will be presented with the Captain’s Trophy
