Captain’s Inter-club Trophy semi-finals & final

The semi finals and finals of the Captain's Interclub were played at Huntercombe on 28 July. The team from The Wychwood beat Studley Wood 2/1 in the morning semi finals before playing the team from Tadmarton Heath who had beaten the other semi finalists Chipping Norton 21/2 to 1/2. All the final matches in the afternoon were closely fought with them all decided on the 18th green with The Wychwood team of Jane Carter, Beryl Garland, Maggie Turner, Shelley John, Pat Court and Sandra Bishop winning 2/1.
