President's Interclub Trophy
| The Semi finals and Final of the President's Interclub scratch foursomes matchplay competition were played at The Oxfordshire on 1st September. In the morning sunshine and wind, the semi finals saw 2- 1 wins for both Frilford Heath over Oxford Ladies, and for Studley Wood over Huntercombe. The increasing wind and threatening storm clouds made conditions even more challenging in the afternoon. But the team of Annie Gowing, Andrea James, Kate Evans, Liz McPhail, Jane Binning and Penny Kendall came through to successfully defend the trophy for Frilford Heath yet again, winning all three of the afternoon matches. |
