The Silver Spring, played on 2 June, in hot sunshine at The Springs, was won by Sally Adams (handicap 14) from Studley Wood with a score of 39 points. She beat Fay Banks (12 handicap) of Frilford Heath on count back despite Fay's eagle on the par 4 345 yard 6th hole, her second shot with a 7 wood finding the cup. Third place went to Jenny Reynolds (handicap 14) of Chipping Norton with a score of 36 points. CSS was one higher than the SSS at 73.
