The final of the Bamberger Trophy 2010 was played at Burford Golf Club on October 16.

The two finalists were Pam Maynard from Chipping Norton and Shelley Yates from the Wychwood.

After a nervous start from both players, Pam went three up after three holes. However, Shelley fought back and stood on the eighteenth tee one up.

She lost this hole, however, she emerged victorious by winning the first extra hole.

It was a hard fought match with only three of the nineteen holes being halved.

Congratulations to Shelley, and commiserations to Pam.
