TILLY MAGILL BREAKS COURSE RECORD
AT THE OXFORDSHIRE


The Midlands South Championship started yesterday (Monday, July 12) at The Oxfordshire golf club with 33 entrants.

Tilly Magill was first out in the morning round off the 1st tee with a marker (her playing partner failed to arrive). She had a fantastic round of golf and scored a 65 to beat the current course record by three shots.

OXFORDSHIRE WIN THE COUNTY SHIELD

The Oxfordshire team of Tilly Magill, Abi Laker & Jane Binning won the County Shield at The Oxfordshire beating the other five county teams from Warwickshire, Northamptonshire. Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Worcestershire & Herefordshire.

The Oxfordshire team scored 295 points and the second place score was 310. Oxfordshire havev fiveplayers through to the final 16 in the knock out stages of the Championship – Tilly Magill, Abi Laker, Gemma Clements, Kate Evans & Jane Binning.

The knock out stages of the championship tee off at 8.30am on Tuesday morning. I hope to see some Oxfordshire supporters at The Oxfordshire!
