Following a very busy but successful and enjoyable 2009 I am now looking forward to my 2nd year as County Captain.

The County competitions were very well supported in 2009 and I look forward to seeing as many ladies as possible playing in these various competitions again in 2010.

Thank you also for your support at the fundraising events and check the website for details of forthcoming events starting with a presentation and lunch with mind guru Gail Smirthwaite in February 2010.

Following the successes of the County teams throughout 2009 I am really looking forward to 2010 and this starts with Coaching sessions with John Cook and Rob Watts with the County team and 2nd team, and Shay Brennan with the Junior team.

There are a couple of changes to the Executive committee. Jane Pezaro has now finished her term of office as Lady President – 3 years of hard work and huge commitment to the County for which we thank her. Jane will be missed but I know that our new Lady President, Joan Broady is looking forward to her role and to meeting as many people as possible.

I would also like to welcome the new 2nd team Captain elect – Annie Gowing.
