I was extremely proud of our County team who finished second overall behind Northamptonshire who won all their matches - they now go on to National finals to represent the Midlands South region.
Our team played with great spirit and they all played some fabulous golf. I truly believe they have the talent and ability to go on to win the Regional event (hopefully next year) and then go on to represent the Midlands South region at the National finals.
Very well done to Laura Watkins (Bicester)!
Her victory in the singles over Berkshire on the last day earned three County Colour points to earn her full County Colours
.
Other County Colour point s were earned by Abi Laker (Burford) five points,
Gemma Clements (Studley Wood) two points to add to two already gained, and Lydia Fox (Studley Wood) two points.
Many thanks go to numerous supporters and to the caddies who gave up their time to come along this week to Goring & Streatley.
