Buckinghamshire win 6½-2½A little more sunshine greeted us today for our key match against Buckinghamshire. We knew that this would be tough – Bucks have proved much stronger this year than previously. The reunited pairing of Kath and Sam provided our only point of the morning session. Annie and Kate had a very close match which went to the 18th, but ended in Bucks' favour. In the afternoon, all the matches were extremely tight, most going to 17 or 18 – apart from a fantastic 7&5 win for Sam. Gemma secured a great half against Susanna Mitterer, adding another point to her County Colours total. The team were very determined and played excellent golf, but unfortunately the results went against us. Annie Gowing |
