BB&O Team Stableford

Sunningdale Ladies, 27^th March

Oxfordshire won the first Junior team cmpetition of the year at Sunningdale Ladies GC on Sunday, March 27, 2011.  

A bright and breezy early start was the order of the day for a team of seven players and a reserve.  The team was:  Gemma Clements (Captain).  Imogen Vessey.   Helen Cross.   Sally Ayres.  Emily Keel.  Alex Pitts. Caitlin Shaw and playing reserve,  Harriet Hancock. 

Berkshire, (hosts), Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire juniors plaed a  stableford competition off full handicap with six scores to count.  One player  from each county made up threeballs playing in handicap order.

Emma Norris (Bucks) 40 points
Lauren Dodd (Berks) 37 points on c/b
Imogen Vessey (Oxon) 37 points
Well done to all the girls and a great result for the start of the season.  Some notable mentions go to Imogen for third place in the individual category,  Harriet returning a very impressive 38 in her reserve position and Sally pleasing the waiting spectators with her birdie on the 18th!  

Gemma Clements (our Junior Captain) extends a particular welcome to Caitlin and Harriet who both made their debut in this match.
