The Seconds met Hampshire on home territory at Burford Golf Club at the end of March. Sarah Amos (Studley) partnered by Abi Laker (Chipping Norton) put the first point on the board for Oxfordshire in the morning foursomes and the Studley duo of Lauren Jupp and Lydia Fox also won their match by the same margin1up, for Oxfordshire to go into the afternoon’s singles 2/1.

The first 3 singles matches went Oxfordshire’s way with Lauren winning against Alex Molin 4/3, Laura Watkins (Bicester) stamped her authority on her match against Aileen Simpson winning 5/4 and Karen Pollard (Henley) came in 2/1 against Elaine Hutchins. The other 3 matches were won by Hampshire. Match result – a win by Oxfordshire 5 matches to 4.
