The match was played in great spirit on a very hot day at Whipsnade Park GC.

Jane & Justine were threedown quite early on in their match but came back strongly against the Hertfordshire pair. They only just lost their match on the 18th.

Sam & Lauren had a very close match with never more than a hole between them and their opponents. The match was halved with neither pair allowing a victory to their opponents! This was particularly impressive as Lauren was suffering with a bad back, and Sam suffering from a form of vertigo!

Annie & Laura played some lovely golf which resulted in a convincing win of 5/4 against the strong partnership of Lucinda & Lucy.

Unfortunately due to illness, injuries and the unfortunate late withdrawal of players we only had five players available for the singles matches.

Laura had a great win over Harriet to give her 100% success rate for the day, and Sam battled it out with Charlie from being three down to halve her match.

Losses in the other three matches meant an overall victory of 5/3 to a very strong Hertfordshire team.
