Kath claims her second top trophy
in five days

Oxfordshire champion Katherine O'Connor claimed her second top scratch trophy in five days when she won the Pleasington Putter with a three-under par score.

Katherine, of Tadmarton Heath, arrived at Pleasington, Lancashire, fresh from her success in the Bridget Jackson Bowl at Handsworth, where she was six-under par.

In the Putter, she shot 145 (74 and 71) to finish a shot ahead of Ami Storey of Ponteland, Northumberland. Charlotte Austwick (Fulford), who had a hole-in-one at the 8th, was a further shot back alongside Bethany Garton (Royal Lytham & St Annes).
