Glenmuir Champion of Champions success for Lauren Jupp & Jane BinningJust before Christmas, the Glenmuir Champion of Champions Event came to its climax and I’m pleased to confirm that two Club Champions from Oxfordshire did very well in the event. Jane Binning got to the last 8 and Lauren Jupp, after losing to Jane in the first round on the 19th hole, went on to be a finalist in the Plate Competition, enabling her to re-enter the main event at the quarter final stage. Lauren got through to the area final, but lost to Alison Gee from Clandon Regis 2 & 1 at Frilford Heath. Many congratulations to both players for doing so well and reaching the final stages of this national event. |
