Child Protection Policies & Procedures

We want to ensure that girls in Oxfordshire have a fun, safe and positive experience when they play golf at our Play Days, in our competitions and matches. Therefore, the Oxfordshire Ladies County Golf Association (OLCGA) is implementing the safeguarding policies and procedures recommended by Children in Golf and our governing body, England Golf.

These organisations want to ensure that golf provides a safe environment for children by making every reasonable effort to have a consistent message and workable guidance for anyone working with children and vulnerable adults.

OLCGA ensures that its volunteers and coaches who have regular contact with the girls are DBS-checked and receive Child Safe-guarding training.

The OLCGA ensures that its regular volunteers and coaches are both DBS-checked and receive Child Protection training.
