Nicola Sparks Memorial Trophies

We had a wonderful day yesterday at Burford Golf Club hosting The Nicola Sparks' Memorial Competition with 12 girls playing in the 3 categories. The weather was kind this year as were the trees who had hung on to their leaves and so straying balls were easier to find! We were delighted to welcome two new players who were playing in their first Oxfordshire event - Ali Dolamore and  Allyson Onafowokan. Some fantastic golf was played which was reflected in the brilliant scores - the winner of the 18 hole competition was Ava Fegan-Smith with a magnificent 41 points - a result that tops an impressive year for Ava! Close behind Ava and in 2nd place was Lara Murphy with a superb 38 points and in joint 3rd place were Phoebe Simons and Issy O'Neill with 37 points. Sienna Fegan-Smith played the 9 hole course and Allyson Onafowokan the 6 hole course.
