1st team vs Hampshire @ Henley Golf Club

1st team vs Hampshire @ Henley Golf Club

This rain-postponed fixture against Hampshire, that should have been played earlier in the year at North Hants, was played in glorious sunshine (at last!) at Henley Golf Club on Saturday 3rd June.  The 1st team started strongly with 4 matches up at the half way point. Unfortunately the stronger fire power of Hampshire, who had lower handicaps than most of the OLCGA squad, won through in the end, gaining them a 4-1 victory. Well done to Kate Evans who secured Oxfordshire's point! Squ...

It was rather a cold day to begin with  but fortunately  the sun did eventually shine. The course was challenging with quick greens testing the putting; nevertheless some wonderful golf shots were played by all girls! As always the girls played in a very sporting manner and remained cheery throughout. Our 2023 Girls' Champion is Megan Bishop from The...

The sun came out in the afternoon for the singles and OLCGA won 4 out of the 6 matches against stiff competition. Thank you for all of the support both in person and on-line - the team really appreciates it!
