Witney Lakes Golf Club
Course Information
Located on the edge of the beautiful Cotswolds you’ll find Witney Lakes Resort – a golfing haven for beginners to professionals alike.
The easy walking parkland course was designed by Simon Gidman in 1999, where you’ll find 5 tranquil lakes, 51 bunkers and natural hedgerows, gorse, tall grass and trees.
With a Men's par of 71 and 72 for Ladies, the course measures 6,570 from the white tees with a slope rating of 126, 6,274 yards from the yellow tees with a slope rating of 124 and 5,280 yards from the Red tees with a slope rating of 122.
This Lakeland-style course offers a challenge for all standards of golfer. It features a number of dog-leg holes and an interesting order of par 3s, 4s and 5s, inviting the golfer to use every club in the bag.
Signature holes include the 8th hole which is a par 3 over the water with trees encroaching to the left of the green - a shot that requires accuracy and distance control. Additionally, the 14th hole is considered a real challenge - a dogleg to the right with a long carry to a green set beside a large lake.
