1st Team victory vs UK Armed Forces @ The Caversham GC 18th March

On a soggy and wet day (and golf course) the 1st team kicked off their competitive season with a 5-3 victory over the UK Armed Forces in singles matchplay.
It was great to see Megan and Elizabeth fitting seamlessly in to the senior squad and playing really good golf. Elizabeth showed great grit and determination to stay in a match that had gone against her early on. Megan was playing an ex-OLCGA squad member but she maintained good focus and concentration throughout.
The match was played in a good competitive spirit and the handicaps matched up well. We look forward to hosting the UK armed forces on an Oxfordshire course in 20241st team Caroline Johnson, Kate Evans, Millie Anderson, Sarah Barter, Tracy Roberts, Megan Bishop, Elizabeth Ball, Sarah Hillas
