Elizabeth wins the Spring Meeting!

Congratulations to Elizabeth Ball who won our first competition of the year, the Spring Meeting at North Oxford Golf Club, with a score of 38 points. Elizabeth was closely followed by Lara Murphy and Grace Beardsley both with 37 points.
The 9 hole winner was Phoebe Simons with Rachael Moore and Scarlett Reeves sharing second place.
Three girls played in the pre-handicap 9 hole event - well done to Charlotte Gosling-Evans, Emma Higgins and Sara Savenius.
On the whole we were very lucky with only a couple of very short showers!
As always some wonderful golf shots were on show and give us much hope for the coming season!
What was also really evident was that for those players who found it more difficult they dug deep and carried on, showing real determination to finish and such strength of character. Well done to everyone for persevering and finishing with a smile!!
