Bamberger Knockout Final

The Bamberger final was played at the Cotswolds Club in torrential rain. The finalists were Christine Bishop (Bicester) and Muriel Williams (Tadmarton). The course was in immaculate condition and held up so well considering the rain, with good golf played by both. It was nip and tuck all the way, Christine going 1up on 17 to emerge the winner 2up. Losing semi-finalists were Valeska Maclachlan (Henley) and Derryn Cope (Studley Wood).
