County Shield restored and prepared for years to come

County Shield restored and prepared for years to come

The county would like to extend sincere thanks to the team at the Charlbury Community Workshop for their work repairing the County Shield Trophy.

This trophy is the oldest trophy in the county, having been contested since 1930. The shield has been repaired, and there is now space on the front of the trophy for many more winners' names to be added in future years.

The Charlbury Community Workshop (CCW) is set up to provide an affordable facility for repairing, making and training in a variety of practical crafts such as woodworking, needlecraft, electrical/electronic repairs, stained glass, and upholstery. You can find out more about the Charlbury Community Workshop on their website.
