Faith wins the Summer Meeting!

Congratulations to Faith Trinder who won our Summer Meeting which was held at Feldon Valley Golf Club on Monday 24th July.  Following the heavy rain at the weekend which proved challenging for the Professionals I was dubious as I drove up the M40 in the pouring rain. However the rain stopped and the clouds thinned and a wonderful afternoon of golf followed. We had a very small group this year but they more than made up for it with their scores.  It seems that the new irons were a great purchase for Faith as she came in with an astonishing 44 points, very closely followed by Amelia Sambrook with 42 points and Grace Beardsley with 41 points! We look forward to seeing the new handicaps and hope this success continues throughout the summer!  Our thanks to Feldon Valley for hosting us and looking after us all. Congratulations to all the girls!
