Frilford Heath team triumphs at fully subscribed Autumn 3-ball Alliance

Autumn 3-Ball Alliance at Witney Lakes Golf Resort, 14th September 2026
The Autumn 3-Ball Alliance at Witney lakes Golf Resort was fully subscribed with 20 teams of 3 ladies representing 10 Oxfordshire Clubs. The weather remained good for us and the teams very much enjoyed the challenging hazards of the course (especially the 8th hole over the water!) and meeting fellow golfers over food and drink in the Lakeside bar afterwards.
The winners were: Julie Monk, Rachel Downey and Jackie Topliss from Frilford Heath with 80 points. They each won a £30 M&S voucher and OLCGA branded ball marker.
1st place
In Second place were: Teddy Bevan, Kate Evans and Penny Haslam also from Frilford Heath with 77 points. They each won £20 M&S voucher and OLCGA branded ball marker.
2nd place
In Third place were: Ruth Mackay, Debbie Stock and Lynne Tattersall from Drayton Park with 73 points. They each won a box of Thorntons chocolates and OLCGA branded ball marker.
3rd place
Nearest the Pin winners were: Tracey Hunt (left below) from Witney Lakes on the 6th and Annabel Horseman from Bicester on the 12th. They each won a bottle of M&S Prosecco.
