Nicola Sparks Memorial Trophies

Oxfordshire Junior Girls had a very successful day at Burford Golf Club competing for the three Nicola Sparks' Memorial Trophies. This event is held annually and is a highlight of the year. Amelia Seal from Shrivenham Park won the 18 hole stableford with 38 points. Three girls came in with 36 points and on countback 2nd place went to Sophia Sollis from The Cotswolds Club; 3rd place went to Elizabeth Ball from Drayton Park and 4th place went to Lara Murphy from Frilford Heath who also won the trophy for most improved player.

In the 9 hole competition the winner was Scarlett Reeves from Studley Wood with a magnificent 32 points and in the 6 hole competition the winner was Sadie Bauder with an impressive 20 points!

The Boddington Trophy was awarded to Elizabeth Ball from Drayton Park.

We bid a sad farewell to our outgoing Junior Captain, Ellie Phillips from Drayton Park. Ellie had carried out the role for 2 years due to the pandemic and will be hugely missed by the junior girls. On a cheerier note we were delighted to announce our new Junior Captain, Freya Coughlan from Frilford Heath.
