President’s Trophy Semi finals & Final
The Presidents Trophy semi finals took place at North Oxford GC on Monday August 19th with Frilford Heath playing Studley Wood and Henley playing The Wychwood in the morning.
Frilford Heath and Henley emerged winners and
then had a very closely contested final in the afternoon. Half way it was very
close, but Henley's 2nd pair secured a win on the 16th, followed by the 3rd
pairing for Frilford winning on the 15th. All down to the 1st match which
Frilford won on the 18th green, Annie Gowing sinking a long putt to clinch
victory for the holders.
North Oxford course was in great condition, the
ladies made everyone so welcome and the golf played in good spirit, well done
all!
