Congratulations to Lara Murphy who won our Summer Meeting which was held at Shrivenham Park Golf Club on Monday 2nd August.

This is the first time that we have held a Junior competition at Shrivenham Park and despite looking flat and open from the clubhouse there proved to be some very challenging holes! This did not phase Lara who scored a magnificent 42 Stableford points! Second place was shared by 3 girls each scoring 36 points but on countback 2nd went to Bethany Steventon, 3rd to Grace Beardsley and 4th to Elizabeth Ball.

Congratulations also to Phoebe Simons and Summer Gardner who played their first full 9 holes in a formal competition. Both cards will go forward to start them on their way to gaining their WHS handicap!

Well done to everyone that played - as always it was wonderful to see the girls encouraging and supporting each-other.
