Captains Trophy Friday 8th October at Kirtlington Golf ClubOn a grey Misty morning the semi finals of the 2021 Captains Trophy began with Feldon Valley taking on Henley and Frilford Heath playing Tadmarton Heath.There were lots of smiles and laughter on the first tee, the matches were played in a great spirit. EG Betterball held at Copt Heath GC.Congratulations to Jenny Stanier from Badgemore Park GC who along with Muriel Quinsac (formerly Henley GC but now Castle Royale, Berkshire) 6 counties are represented - Oxfordshire,Warwickshire , Worcester & Herefordshire,Northamptonshire. Buckinghamshire & Berkshire.Both ladies were presented with a silver plate engraved with all the previous winners back to 1963 and vouchers. A fantastic achievement.

The Cotswold Club hosted the County Shield, on Tuesday 20th July 4 clubs were represented from Oxfordshire. The course was in great condition and everyone enjoyed themselves. Bronze Championship

Well done to all competitors who endured the terrible weather conditions on Wednesday and those conditions turned out to be the cause of the closure of the course.
