The Ann Starkey Trophy is a new scratch knockout and is played as an inter club competition for Bronze handicap players. Ann Starkey, a former member of Tadmarton Heath, had been very involved in the county; playing for the 1st team in the ‘60s and ‘70s and eventually becoming the President. The Autumn 3 Ball Alliance was played at Hadden Hill on 3rd October. There were 30 players, the sun shone though it was a cool Autumnal Day. The club could not have been more welcoming and helpful. What a difference a year can make! There was no rain to be seen this year. Sun cream and plenty of water was required as this was one of the hottest days of the year. The semi finalists of Oxford Ladies, Henley, Frilford Heath and Witney Lakes gathered for the 09.00 start.
