Cara has been selected as one of only 2 amateurs ladies to represent England down under in tournaments in January. She started her winter training in Florida in November, heads in December to Portugal for a England Training Camp and then jets off to Oz.
The Ann Starkey Trophy is a new scratch knockout and is played as an inter club competition for Bronze handicap players. Ann Starkey, a former member of Tadmarton Heath, had been very involved in the county; playing for the 1st team in the ‘60s and ‘70s and eventually becoming the President. The Autumn 3 Ball Alliance was played at Hadden Hill on 3rd October. There were 30 players, the sun shone though it was a cool Autumnal Day. The club could not have been more welcoming and helpful.
