Oxfordshire Girls travelled to Bristol on Sunday to play the annual friendly singles match against Gloucestershire Girls. The sun shone for the junior girls on Sunday when we held the Ox Calf and Teddy Trophies on the Blenheim Course at Kirtlington and yet again witnessed some wonderful golf from our pre-handicap players. Congratulations to Lara Murphy who won our Summer Meeting which was held at Shrivenham Park Golf Club on Monday 2nd August.This is the first time that we have held a Junior competition at Shrivenham Park and despite looking flat and open from the clubhouse there proved to be some very challenging holes!
