This year we will hold 5 squad training sessions: February, March, April, May and October. Most sessions will be held at Frilford Heath given its central location within the County. We will cover short-game skills, competitive Strokeplay, developing performance under pressure, golf psychology, and course management. Nicola Sparks Memorial Junior Trophy & announcement of the new Junior Captain for 2025

Burford Golf Club hosted the annual Nicola Sparks Memorial Junior Trophy at the end of October. Nicola passed away in 2007 and the competition was established in her memory – she was a talented golfer who represented her club and County many times, being crowned County Champion 5 times and was also County Captain. The Bamberger Trophy has come to its conclusion for 2024 following the final round which was hosted by Witney Lakes Golf Club on Monday 14th October.29 players representing 15 different clubs started out in this competition in May of this year. Sunday 6th October saw a friendly match played at Henley Golf Club, Oxfordshire Girls versus Gloucestershire Girls. It was a drizzly wet day, but the course was amazingly immaculate.
