The 2024 Midland South Team Stableford competition was held at a very wet and windy Goring & Streatley Golf Club this year on 22nd August. Studley Wood Golf Club were the hosts for this year’s President’s Trophy Finals Day on Monday 19th August 2024. In contrast to the hot conditions experienced the previous week by the Captain’s Trophy finalists, this was a somewhat cooler and much windier day. On 14th August, Drayton Park's Ruth Mackay and Lynne Tattershall played in the national final of the 2024 Australian Spoons competition at Woodhall Spa.The Australian Spoons, a stableford foursomes competition for women with a Handicap Index® between 15.0 and 54.0, takes place every year with qualifying rounds run by clubs, a regional final and then the national final.Ruth and Lynne blew away the competition, finishing with 37 points.
