In the annual handicap match versus Berkshire, our county girls played admirably. Led out by captain Phoebe on a Hadden Hill course looking splendid in the sunshine, Oxfordshire won comfortably in 3 matches and the overall score was 4-1. North Oxford triumph at Spring 3-ball Alliance at Bicester

On Wednesday 8th May 2024, Bicester Golf Club hosted the OLCGA's Spring 3 Ball Alliance. 24 ladies enjoyed the opportunity to try Bicester’s newly revamped 9 hole course and realised it is not so easy to go round twice! The winning team of Maureen Rhymes, Lorraine Watkins and Susan White (North Oxford, above) scored 74 points in the stableford, 2-to-count format. On a lovely dry and sunny day that hopefully signals the start of spring 2024, Frilford Heath Golf Club hosted the county's annual Centenary Trophy competition. The par-70 Green course was in great condition considering the winter we have all endured.
